Информационно-коммуникационные технологии и проблемы глобального развития

Аннотация


Данная статья посвящена освещению роли ИКТ в преодолении глобального «информационного разрыва». В статье рассмотрены методы использования информационно-коммуникационных технологий, способствовавшие успешному сокращению экономического неравенства и сокращению масштаба бедности в странах третьего мира. Исследован неудачный опыт ряда стран по применению ИКТ. Кроме того, определены основные факторы, определяющие масштабы распространения ИКТ и способы преодоления цифрового неравенства.
